Recently Concluded Long-Life Puja for His Eminence Drubthob Rinpoche
For many centuries, Tibetan Buddhists have offered long life pujas to their immeasurable spiritual teachers. The long life puja purifies and strengthens the relationship between teacher and disciple, and creates the merit for the teacher to remain among us. Since all realization depends on the blessing and guidance of the teacher, this ritual offering practice is extraordinarily precious.
The long life puja was led by Geshe Lungrik La and taiwanese disciple with the attendance of local communities and monks and nuns of surrounding monasteries.

Monks of Drubgon Jangchup Choeling, Woechen Thukje Choeling , Manju shri Di-Chen Buddhist Learning Centre, Buddhist community of Kathmandu vallley and followers of Rinpoche La all around the world will be offering long-life Puja for Drubthob Rinpoche on 10th June after the conclusion of Nyugne Observation.
"Nyung-ne" the simple religious observance carried out with severe fasting on every alternative day of the course, will be starting from 22nd May till 8th June under the personal guidance of Ven.Drubthob Rinpoche. A day of fasting followed by a day of non-fasting combines to make a pair of days (chha) of the "Nyung-ne". The duration or the number of such paired days depends on the importance of the "Nung-ne". Altogether six "Nyung-ne" practices are observed in a year.
The Inauguration Ceremony of the New Prayer Hall was held in both the Tibetan Tradition and a formal Inauguration on 21st October 2008. Sacred traditional Tibetan morning prayers by Sangha communities of three monasteries were proceeded at 7 am. The enthusiastic crowds and guests started thronging the venue as early as 8:00 am.
